All-on-6 Dental Implants in Istanbul

All-on-6 Dental Implants - Restore Your Smile with Permanent Teeth

Replace missing teeth with All-on-6 Dental Implants at Beautica Clinic. Using six strategically placed dental implants, this advanced treatment supports a full arch of fixed replacement teeth, providing exceptional stability, function, and a natural-looking smile.

What All-on-6 actually means

All-on-6 replaces a full arch with a fixed bridge carried by six implants rather than four. The two extra implants sit further back, which spreads chewing load across more bone and shortens the unsupported span at the back of the bridge. On a wide arch, or in a softer jaw, that geometry is what keeps the back of the prosthesis from flexing.

Like All-on-4, the bridge is fixed: screwed or cemented in place, cleaned in the mouth, and not removed at night.

Who All-on-6 suits — and who it does not

It is the better choice when the jaw is soft, when the arch is wide, when you clench or grind heavily, or when the bone in the premolar region is good enough to take the extra implants. Those two extra fixtures are only worth placing if there is bone to hold them — putting them into poor bone adds surgery without adding stability.

It is not the right answer if:

  • the bone behind the front of the jaw is too thin or too close to the sinus or nerve, which is common in long-term denture wearers;
  • you are medically unfit for a longer procedure, or would rather have the least surgery that works;
  • you are missing only a few teeth — then single implants or a short bridge are the correct treatment.

All-on-6 or All-on-4?

Four implants are enough in most jaws; six buy extra support in the cases that need it. The scan decides. If your anatomy supports either, we will tell you both options and what each one changes — then you choose with the trade-off in front of you rather than being sold the larger version. The All-on-4 page covers the other side of that comparison.

Why Choose All-on-6 Dental Implants in Istanbul?

Our experienced implant dentists use advanced digital technology to create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your smile.

Six implants have to be earned by the bone

Before anything is planned, a CBCT scan maps bone height, width and density along the whole arch, plus the sinus floor above and the nerve canal below. Six implants need six positions with enough bone around them; if only four positions qualify, four is the honest answer and we will say so.

The bridge is designed around the bite

The prosthesis is not a copy of the teeth you lost. Bite forces, lip support and speech are designed into it, and the framework material is chosen for the load: a metal or zirconia framework with ceramic or acrylic teeth, depending on where the bridge sits and how hard you bite. Aesthetic work on a full arch fails when the bite is wrong, however good the teeth look.

Our All-on-6 Treatment Process in Istanbul

Your treatment starts with a comprehensive consultation, digital scans, and a detailed assessment. Six dental implants are carefully placed to support a full arch of custom-made teeth. Many patients receive temporary teeth on the day of surgery before returning for their permanent restoration once healing is complete.

What happens on each visit

Consultation and planning. Examination, CBCT scan, photographs, and a written plan that names the implant positions and the type of bridge. Anything that has to be treated first — gum disease, decay, an infected tooth — is listed at this stage.

Surgery. Six implants placed under local anaesthetic, with sedation if you prefer. A longer appointment than All-on-4, and usually more swelling afterwards.

Temporary bridge. Fitted the same day or within a few days, so you are never without teeth.

Final bridge. After three to six months, once the implants are stable. Bite, speech and appearance are adjusted here, and this is the appointment that decides how the result feels for the next decade.

The healing months

Soft food, careful cleaning under the temporary bridge, and no smoking. Smoking during healing is the most reliable way to lose an implant, and it is the one risk entirely within your control. We review healing in person or through photographs sent by your dentist at home.

After the final bridge is fitted

Clean underneath the bridge daily with interdental brushes or a water flosser, brush the gum margin, and come in every six months. The implants cannot decay, but the bone and gums around them can inflame, and the ceramic or acrylic teeth can chip. Both are simple when caught early and expensive when ignored.

How this compares with a denture

A denture sits on the gum, moves under chewing load, and covers the palate in the upper jaw. A fixed implant bridge transfers force into bone, stays still, and is cleaned in place. Patients usually notice the difference in eating first, and in speech second.

All-on-6 Dental Implants: FAQ

All-on-6 is a full-arch dental implant solution that uses six implants to securely support a complete set of fixed replacement teeth.

Patients with multiple missing or failing teeth and sufficient jawbone are often suitable candidates. A consultation will confirm the best treatment option.

All-on-6 uses two additional implants, providing increased support and stability for the full arch. Your dentist will recommend the most suitable option based on your oral health and bone structure.

No. Six implants are better in a soft jaw, a wide arch or a heavy bite, and worse when the extra two would have to go into poor bone. More implants also mean a longer operation and more healing. The right number is the one your scan supports.

You get a fixed temporary bridge, in most cases on the day of surgery. The permanent bridge is made after three to six months of healing, once the implants are stable and the gums have settled.

Enough bone in six separate positions, including further back than All-on-4 needs. That is why some patients who ask for All-on-6 end up with All-on-4: the scan shows there is no bone for the extra fixtures.

Infection, an implant that fails to fuse, chipping of the temporary bridge, and bite or speech changes during adaptation. Smoking, uncontrolled diabetes and untreated gum disease raise all of those risks, which is why they are dealt with before surgery.

With proper care, the implants can last for many years, while the prosthetic teeth may require maintenance or replacement over time.

The treatment is performed under local anesthesia or sedation to ensure your comfort. Mild discomfort after surgery is normal and temporary.

Brush and clean around your implants daily, attend regular dental check-ups, and follow your dentist’s aftercare instructions to maintain long-term results.

Yes, once the final bridge is fitted. During healing you stay on soft food. Afterwards, ice, bones and opening packets with your teeth remain the three habits that break ceramic, exactly as with natural teeth.

Surgery and the temporary bridge take one trip, usually five to seven days in Istanbul. The final bridge follows three to six months later, on a shorter second visit, or with a dentist at home using our records.

Yes, and it is common. Both arches can be treated in the same operation when your health and the bone allow it, or staged a few months apart if a single long session is not advisable.

It is uncommon but it happens. The bridge is designed so that a failed implant can be removed and, in many cases, replaced without remaking the whole prosthesis. Regular reviews are what catch a failing implant while that is still true.
