Introduction
Combining top-tier dental treatments with a memorable holiday in one of the world’s most historic cities has made Istanbul the global capital of dental tourism. If you are planning your first trip to Beautica Clinic, knowing what to expect at every stage ensures a smooth, stress-free experience.
Here is your complete roadmap from booking your flight to flying home with a brand-new smile.
Step 1: Remote Consultation & Flight Booking
Before you even leave home, our team provides a thorough virtual consultation. You send us your recent dental X-rays or photos, and our specialists prepare a detailed, transparent treatment plan with guaranteed all-inclusive pricing. Once you approve, you book your flight, and our patient coordinator handles the rest.
Step 2: VIP Arrival & Luxury Accommodation
Upon landing at Istanbul Airport (IST or SAW), your private VIP driver meets you at the arrivals hall and transports you directly to your 5-star partner hotel located near our clinic.
Step 3: Diagnostic Day at Beautica Clinic
On day one of your treatment:
- Our private driver picks you up from your hotel.
- You undergo high-precision 3D CBCT digital imaging for 99.8% surgical accuracy.
- You meet your specialist dentist to review your treatment steps, select shades, and finalize your smile design.
Step 4: Treatment & Exploring Istanbul
Most cosmetic and restorative treatments require 2 to 3 clinic appointments over a 5 to 7 day stay. In between appointments, you are free to explore Istanbul’s iconic attractions—from the Hagia Sophia and Grand Bazaar to luxury dining along the Bosphorus strait.
Step 5: Final Fitting & Warranty Handover
On your final clinic visit, your custom restorations are bonded. We check your bite alignment, review post-care instructions, and hand you your written warranties for all implants, crowns, or veneers. You fly home refreshed and ready to show off your new smile!
What to Organise Before You Fly
- Records. Recent X-rays, a panoramic film and photographs of your teeth. Your dentist at home can take them, and they let us plan before you travel instead of during your trip.
- Medication list. Blood thinners, diabetes medication and anything you take regularly — some need adjusting before surgery, and that conversation is easier weeks in advance than the night before.
- Time. Five to seven days covers cosmetic work comfortably. Implant surgery needs a second, shorter visit months later for the final restoration; booking one trip for the whole implant process is the most common scheduling mistake we see.
- A companion, if you can. Not required, but useful on surgery day and for the first evening.
- Your questions, written down. The consultation moves quickly when you are in a new city.
What Five to Seven Days Can and Cannot Cover
Comfortably: veneers and crowns, teeth whitening, gum contouring, composite bonding, a single implant with a temporary crown, and the surgical stage of full-arch implants with temporary teeth.
Not in one trip: the final bridge after implant surgery, orthodontic treatment, and anything that needs the gums to heal first. Those are planned as a second visit — usually three to six months later — or finished with a dentist at home using the records we send with you.
The clinical stages for each are on the Hollywood Smile and dental implants pages.
If Something Goes Wrong After You Fly Home
Most trips end without a problem. When something does happen it is usually small and time-limited: sensitivity, a temporary crown that comes loose, or a bite that feels high once the anaesthetic has worn off.
- Message us first. Photographs and a description of the symptom are usually enough to say whether it can wait or needs to be seen.
- We keep your records and can send them to any dentist you choose, so a local dentist can adjust or repair with the same information we had.
- Written guarantees cover the restoration itself; they do not cover a new problem in a different tooth, and we say that in the document rather than in the small print.

- Who will treat me, and what is their licence number?
- Which implant system and which ceramic, and where is the laboratory?
- What exactly is included in the quote — scans, temporaries, transfers, follow-up?
- What is the guarantee, who honours it, and how is a claim handled from abroad?
- Can I speak to a patient who had the same treatment a year ago?
You can see who works at Beautica on our team page and ask us directly before you book anything.
